May 20 2012 annular eclipse is completely different from solar eclipse.In solar eclipse the sun will go completely under the sun.During the annular solar eclipse, the moon will cover 90% of sun, so the sun is not fully covered by the moon.Because of this we can able to see the ring of fire around sun ie) the edge of the sun is visible like a bright ring around the moon.

The may 2012 annular eclipse will come to view in different time in different location.On may 20 2012,during sunset the people in western U.S. and Canada will see the annular eclipse. On may 21 2012,during sun rise the people in eastern Asia can view the annular eclipse. Some part of U.S people can able to view partial eclipse only.But people in northern California through western Texas see the amazing annular eclipse.In this may 20 2012 solar eclipse, the moon will cover the sun nearly 94%.The U.S people has not view the annular eclipse since 1994.The next annular eclipse will happen sometimes in 2020.

Astronomers suggest some times the climate issue will arise, so try to see the sky with concentration to watch atleast part of the annular eclipse.


Dont see the sun with naked eyes and dont use standard sunglasses. It will cause lose of sight.The Astronomers suggest, to get telescopes or binoculars with proper filters.You can buy solar filters from shops and apply over your telescope, glasses or other tools. You can use No.14 welder’s glass to watch the annular eclipse.It is available in hardware stores.

Our Solar system contains full of stars,planets and many more exciting objects.In has interesting facts inside it.The main thing is the sun and the 8 planets. In general a solar system is a group of planets, moons,dwarf planets around a star.In our solar system,it has four terrestrial planets(Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars) and four gas giants(Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune).It also include the planets satellites(moons) and asteroids.The scientists said that, the solar system formed nearly 4.6 billion years ago.Structure of the solar system and some of the interesting facts of the solar system are discussed below.
Sun :
Sun is actually a star and it is placed in the center of the solar system.It has strong magnetic field and very hot larva inside it.The sun has 99.86% mass of the whole solar system. Sun got energy from it's hydrogen nuclear fusion reactions in core.It contains 70% hydrogen and 28% helium and 2% other elements.
Mercury :

The tiny and nearest planet to the sun is Mercury.It has no moons.It is one of the terrestrial planet.It has a large iron core.
Venus :

The second smallest planet in solar system is Venus.Scientists told that it may contain water at one point of time, but it has evaporated because of over heat. Volcanic activity have been found on its surface but their is no evidence of lava flow.It is also called as "sister of earth" because of its similar size.

NASA launches five majestic rockets

NASA will be launching five series of rockets in Virginia that will light up the sky for hundreds of miles

This is launched to learn in detail about the jet stream winds that circle in the edges of the space.

Between March14 and April 4 at the night NASA has a plan to launch five rockets in five minutes from a Wallops Island facility in Virginia.

In this five rocket, each rocket will release the chemical element that will be leaving the long,
Miguel Larsen said that "People will be able to see it. They can also photograph it pretty easily," at the Clemson University.

In this each rocket will be in different attitudes and distances. The winds in the thermosphere are about 65 miles above the surface that reaches speed of 300miles per hour.

In this the altitudes are apart of the ionosphere in which strong electrical currents passes through the solar radiation.

In the experiment the scientist will get information about the high winds.

The weather of the space is started with the sun. It begins with an eruption of the huge burst of radiation called as the solar flare or even the gigantic cloud of solar material called as coronal mass ejection (CME). 

Several kinds of the space weather events like the geomagnetic storms, solar radiation stroms, and radio blackouts these three cause eruptions in the sun.

The most common method os space weather is the geomagnetic storm which refers to Earth’s magnetic environment in this it undergoes repeated change. 

This geomagnetic storm occurs outside the magnetosphere for a period time. If the magnetic field affects the south region on the earth’s field the effect of that will occur dramatically.

 In the same way the next phase is that it occurs for last hours to days a charged particle that sweeps the magnetosphere that will accumulate with more speed.

 In this particles will penetrate closer to the planet. Aurora will be seen bright at lower latitudes. 

The satellites will get damaged if the satellite travels at lower and higher attitude around the earth. The final stage of the geomagnetic earth will last only for few days. The Geomagnetic storms does not require during CME.

Twister action in Mars orbiter

A twisting column of dust was on a move in more than half a mile (800meters) the image is seen very high from the High Resoultion Imaging Science Experiment camera in NASA Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. 

This image was beautiful cached on Feb. 16, 2012. The orbitor passes on the Amazon is Planitia on the northern mars.

 In the place where the dust seems have the whirlwinds, dust devils and the dusty surface.

 The image was taken in the Martian year. AS we seen on the Earth the winds on the mars are heated by the solar.

Same as the Earth the dust devils are seen in Mars also. When the air gets heated immediately the surface raised quickly and start to rotate if the conditions are ok. 

With the help of six science instruments since 1996 they are examine the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.More than 21.700 imges are awesomely taken in the HRISE.

HRISE is operated by the University of Arizona which is seen in the place of Tucson.

Sun splits out three flares

On March 2, 2012 the active region of the sun set out fire flares in three places. The region is 1429 that can be rotated in the view.

In the view it has shown tow M class flares and one X class so far .This Flares of M are erupted in March 2 and also on March 4.

The third flare is rated on March 4 at 10:30 ET that is rated at X1. The accomplishment of CME in each flare will be still be in the active region that is off side to the sun that will be likely affect weekly on Earth Magnetosphere.

The type IV radio will burst in the last 46minutes in which the M class flares on March 4. By sending the broadband radio waves the burst can end at the solar flare that is typically created by moving the electrons trapped in great.

This burst will interfere with the radio communication on the Earth.

Historic shuttle to arrive at new homes permanently

Space shuttle Endeavor's payload bay doors at Kennedy space center

The NASA space shuttle will arrive at new homes by this end of the year. The stuttles were on process to change the place that of transition and retirement at the  Kennedy space center , Florida.

Pannullo watched the shuttle Endeavour that was backed out of the vehicle assembly Building and was also towed by the orbiter processing facility.

Atlantis is prepared for public display at the Kennedy space center , florida.Pannullo said that "It's been two beautiful days here for these operations and seeing people I haven't seen in a while,".

The technicians will prepare the Endeavour to move the OPF-2 to get a good display. The technicians will be working in the aft compartment to remove the components for the future programs.

In the same way they will continue to safe the space craft said by Pannullo. Stilson said that" We also are doing the final configuration and a closeout to ensure the vehicle is ready to ferry,"

Stilson enjoys about the other shuttles even after she loves discovery that will always hold a special place in her heart.  Stilson said "I continue to be impressed by the dedication and devotion of the team working to ensure Discovery, Atlantis, Endeavour and Enterprise are delivered to their new homes in the best possible condition,"

Pannullo said "There is a great sense of pride and appreciation for the opportunity to work with so many great people on the greatest space program in the world,"

The Saturn is the largest moon .The titan looks very small here just like a gas giant in the Cassini spacecraft view. The titan is 3,200 miles and 5,150 kilometers away from the upper right. This image of Saturn will appear like a cross in the upper circle that is right to an image.The tiny spark of image is seen at the upper rings far from the right of the image. The Prometheus can be seen as a black speck on the planet far away from the left of the image.The shadow of the moon can be seen from the south of the rings below the center of the image.

NASA finds 20 million wind speed near the black hole

NASA Scientists reported a record breaking wind that have been arise from the black hole  called IGR J17091-3624.Per hour the wind speed is 20 million miles that would be expected in larger black holes. The wind speed drawn off of the star orbiting a black hole and has been clocked with a speed of 20 million miles per hour it is about 3% speed than off the light.The black hole is magically located 28,000 light year away it is a part of the binary system. “This is like the cosmic equivalent of winds from a category five hurricane,” said by Ashley King .“This black hole is performing well above its weight class,” said by Miller the co-author. Chandra has been observing for 2 months but yet they didn't get any evidence relating the wind. The winds were powered by constant variations in a powerful magnetic fields over the black hole.

NASA astronomers have found bulkyballs in the space

NASA astronomers have found the data by using the NASA spitzer space telescope in that they have  bulky balls in the solid  form .Microscopic carbon spheres have been found only in the form of the gas that forms to be the cosmos. This bulky balls are made up of 60 carbon atoms arranged together like a hallow sphere like a soccer ball."These buckyballs are stacked together to form a solid, like oranges in a crate," said Nye Evans of Keele University in England, lead author of a paper appearing in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. "The particles we detected are minuscule, far smaller than the width of a hair, but each one would contain stacks of millions of buckyballs.""This exciting result suggests that buckyballs are even more widespread in space than the earlier Spitzer results showed," said Mike Werner, project scientist for Spitzer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. "They may be an important form of carbon, an essential building block for life, throughout the cosmos.""The window Spitzer provides into the infrared universe has revealed beautiful structure on a cosmic scale," said Bill Danchi, Spitzer program scientist at NASA Headquarters in Washington. "In yet another surprise discovery from the mission, we're lucky enough to see elegant structure at one of the smallest scales, teaching us about the internal architecture of existence."
